Greetings Readers!

The HO Pensieve will publish certain columns on select days. There will be roughly 3-4 columns/articles posted daily (Monday-Friday). Below is a list of the columns and what days they will be published. If you’d like to contribute, please feel free to contact any member to get the password to the pensieve staff room.

Horoscopes

Libra

Libras are represented by the above picture of the scales of justice. They are famous for being just, fair, well-mannered, and tend to be good at charms. Libras share a birthday with Professor Minerva McGonogall and Professor Filius Flitwick, two of the greatest professors Hogwarts ever had.

Libras belonging to Gryffindor tend to be more cautious and guarded than their fellow Gryffindors. Ironically, there does not tend to be a great deal of Libras in Gryffindor, as the Libra and the Gryffindor characteristics are quite conflicting. For example, Gryffindors tend to act first, and think later, whereas Libras are known to make decisions carefully. However, the Gryffindor and Libra characteristic of justice mean that the fairest witches and wizards can be found in this group. Those who fall into this group defend the underdog, and are more capable of defending their beliefs than most. Gryffindors who fall under this sign will serve best as Aurors.

  • All the staff at the HO Pensieve would like to wish our beloved Publisher Professor Chauncey Clemenceau a Happy Birthday today!
  • Tomorrow, one of our fine Professors, Professor Andrew Bishop will be celebrating his birthday!
  • Also celebrating tomorrow, Remington Hunter of Hufflepuff house.

Appointments

  • Due to a gap in the prefects for Hufflepuff left by Jessenia’s sudden departure, Lorinda Swansong has been appointed new Prefect by Head and Deputy Head of Hufflepuff, Professor Elizabeth Peevison and Professor Dakota Kane

Club News

Wizards Chess Club - The chessival is in the planning stage, and volunteers are need. You don’t have to be a member to help out! They are looking for the following:-

  • Volunteers to work the games booths and rides
  • Someone to run the dance (will have auditions for this position)
  • People to play at the concert (more than one will be selected, can be a group/band)

PM the club’s student moderator, Aubrey Ryan for more info.
Pureblood United - Professor Smerch would like to remind members that the club lounge is open for club members to chill and hang out with their fellow Purebloods.
