Hufflepuff v.s. Slytherin

Hey Everyone! This is the next Quidditch Report of the Season! I’m Nick Shwimmer, bringing you the news of the game as not everyone can see what happened.
So, last Sunday, at about 7:30pm EST, the Quidditch Game took Place between Hufflepuff and Slytherin! The team rosters for the game were as follows…

The Team Rosters!

Hufflepuff
Seeker: Fergus
Beater: Doyle
Chaser: Swansong
Chaser: Darkwood
Chaser: Harrison
Keeper: Brown
*Hufflepuff did not have a full Roster but Slytherin agreed to play nevertheless.

Slytherin
Seeker: Cruz
Beater: Wadsworth
Beater: Hale
Chaser: Daniels
Chaser: Leigh
Chaser: Lestrange
Keeper: Howell

The Game! Play-By-Play
Prof. (Referee) Aine MacArthur Releases the Quaffle!

The Quaffle is caught by Chaser Daniels!

Beater Doyle hits a Quaffle towards Chaser Daniels who is hit! He drops the Quaffle leaving it open for anyone.

However, his teammate Chaser Lestrange catches the Quaffle keeping Slytherin in Possession.

Beater Doyle sends another Bludger towards Chaser Lestrange who avoids it!

Though Beater Doyle sends ANOTHER Bludger towards Chaser Lestrange who is then hit and drops the Quaffle.

Chaser Darkwood catches the Quaffle.

Beater Wadsworth finds a Bludger to send towards Chaser Darkwood and it almost hits her though she avoids it at the very last second.

Beater Wadsworth finds ANOTHER Bludger to send towards Chaser Darkwood and it she avoids it AGAIN!

Chaser Darkwood passes the Quaffle to Chaser Harrison

Beater Wadsworth finds a Bludger (again) to send towards Chaser Harrison who dodges it!

Seeker Cruz finds the Golden Snitch! Slytherin Wins 150 Points!

The Final Score!

Slytherin: 150 points
Hufflepuff: 0 points

Current Standings
First Place: Slytherin: 150 points
Second Place: Ravenclaw & Gryffindor: [color=blue]75 points
Third Place: Hufflepuff: 0 points

The NEXT game will be between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor on October 24th-25th!

Laughing with Lily

Muggle: “Where is the director of this set? I could play a magician better than these gits!”
Weasley boy: “Don’t you know where you are?”
Muggle: “Yes young man, I have found the location of a movie that is being filmed. Though I must say, I must demand to have a better array of costumes to wear. The ones you and the others are wearing are hideous!”

Now, this comment angered the young Weasley, and the boy quickly offered to guide the man to the ‘director’, who happened to be his father George.

George Weasley: “Is there a problem, son?”
Muggle: “I want to be in the movie you’re filming here. I would be a much better magician than any of these fools.”
George Weasley: “Son, would you get this man a cup of special tea? You’ll find it in the room next door.”
Weasley boy: “Here you go, a steaming cup of tea”.
Muggle: “Thank you.” *muggle gulps down the tea* “I’d like blublublubblublublub”
George Weasley: *Seeing the muggle’s lips begin flapping together uncontrollably, preventing him from speaking.* “It worked! We can use some of this on Auntie Muriel next time she comes to visit!”

Monday 19th October- Announcements

  • Prof. Allysyn Anderson and Aubrey Ryan will both be out of town from the 16th to the 18th.
  • Prof. Marisol Bishop, Lucy Lindsay, Xenovia Scamander and Irina Ortiz have visitors and will be away from 17th of October to the 24th of October.

The Sorting Hat worked it’s magic, and welcomed Marius Bromhead, Thomas Pryce, Evelyn Watson, Sapphire Ozera, Ginny Forster, Yerivan Lorak, Ryden Al, Ian Green, Calder Coventree, Tessa Marcs, Sophia Felton and Lucina Greymark to Hufflepuff, and Rosalind Pinette to Ravenclaw.
