Strange Happenings at Hogwarts

Over the past few weeks, we have noticed some students behaving very strangely. Naturally, there are always some students at one point or another, that we consider to behave strangely, but this is beyond anything of that nature.

Well, considering most of our professors are unconscious, and the others seem to be helping the dark wizards, it looks as though we, the students are left to defend ourselves. How can we do this, when we are clearly over powered and lacking in experience? I suppose we shall find out as time goes by.

Dear Lyra,
I’ve finally returned to school about three weeks ago, after a long illness and family problems. I always considered Hogwarts to be my safe haven, and the castle has always been more of a home to me than my family’s home. I still believe Hogwarts will overcome whatever is happening here right now, but I am concerned about how long it will take, and if there is anything we older students can do. Do you have any suggestions, or ideas?

Not losing hope

Dear Not losing hope,
You are not alone when you say Hogwarts is your safe haven and home. I believe many of us feel the same way. Well, I should say that many of us felt the same way until recently. We are not exactly sure what is going on in the school, other than the fact that dark wizards are attempting to take over yet again. I also believe Hogwarts will rise above this attack and defeat the dark wizards. Time is of the essence, since it looks like these dark wizards arrived with a well thought out plan, along with some inside help.

Dear Lyra,
My best friend in the whole world has turned against me. We were in the Library, studying and working on a project for one of our classes, when I left to search for another book to cross-reference. Prior to that, my friend and I were joking and simply enjoying each others company during the tedious work. When I returned to our work table, the expression on her face and emptiness of her eyes, showed no signs at all of the person she was a few minutes before that.

Lost and Terribly Confused

Dear Lost,
I suggest you do not do anything drastic at this point. There is very little normalcy going on here at school at the moment. Please have some patience, and faith in your friends true inner feelings until things are sorted out. When things are back to normal, perhaps you can talk to her, using hypothetical questions to discover what she thinks and how she feels about you and where your relationship is going.

Broken Brooms

Lost & Broken Brooms

Brooms are still missing! However, not all of them are. Recently, brooms have been found stashed in various places within the Hogwarts castle as well as on the Grounds. These brooms, however, have been found destroyed or broken; none of them were in good condition. What has happened to these brooms? Is it the work of the dark wizards? It appears that no long-term curses have been set upon the brooms, but they are damaged nevertheless. One students report that their Nimbus 2000 was found in the Owlery. It was found broken into 7 pieces, each in a different part of the tower.

Ravenclaw Dispute

As of this moment, Ravenclaw continues to protest the Slytherin/Ravenclaw game on November 8th. Due to “lack of preparation” on the Referee’s part, Ravenclaw had protested the game and declared themselves out of the season unless the appropriate action was taken. At this moment, the decision has yet to be made and it may not be made at all due to more important matters for the professors. With the Dark Wizards attacking Hogwarts, there is little time to worry about the Quidditch Season.

So as you all know, the Professors are a bit… tied up at the moment. If you didn’t know, then you live under a rock and need to get a larger brain. That or your a blind, deaf, mute who needs to live in the muggle world. Either way, I will not be conducting interviews with the Professors for the next couple weeks instead, I will be interviewing the plethora of Wizards who have came to this school and turned it upside down. I’m talking about the Dark Wizards.

Now who better to start with then the Dark Wizards own leader Logan O’Conner, who made his first appearence in the Great Hall so many days ago. No here is the part where I get various peoples opinions on Mr. O’Conner. Except, not many people wish to speak of him, or any Dark wizard for that matter, in fear for their lives. However, a few people did speak out… though anonymously.

Their names have been changed. Billy Bob said, “I can’t wait till they leave. I want the Professors back. This guy needs to be thrown in Azkaban for what he wants to do.”

Mary Jane said, “He’s doing Hogwarts a favor. Mudbloods everywhere should be taken away, then those people in the ministry. Who do they think they are? Bossing us around.”

Now I was hoping to have a little sit down with the man, more on a one on one sort of thing, however, he was sort of busy. You know, torturing people, forcing them to join the Dark Wizards, the usual. SO I owled him the questions. Don’t ask how just accept it.

Taylor Spence (TS): Why did you wish to take over the school, or why did you go along with the plan?
Logan O’Conner (LO): Pass.

It’s pretty obvious what he wants to do. Take over the school, kill people. I don’t know why he passed this one. Maybe its a personal thing and he wished not to divulge it. If thats so, then we should all note how sensative he is. Yeah right, think that and you’ll be first to die.

TS: What made you choose the… dark side of life?
LO: Pass

Another pass. Well, again it seems pretty obvious why. Something happened he didn’t like it, got mad, and wished to take it out on people. Isn’t that how it always is?

TS: Were you a Slytherins? (If not, what house?)
LO: Of course I was in Slytherin.

Of course he was in Slytherin, what was I thinking? Of course, I meant that sarcastically.

TS: What was one of the best memories of your time at Hogwarts when you were a student?
LO: Pass

No good, memories? What he didn’t torture anyone has a student, or meet a life long friend, or heck even had a row with the Giant Squid? Nothing. That’s kinda sad. Not that I feel sorry for him.

TS: Who created the potion that brainwashes the students?
LO: I did with help of a couple monks. Not the same ones who tried to use a plague to take over this school.

He’ll answer a question about potions but not of a good memory, or is reason for wanting to mass murder?

TS: Why do you use children for your plan? Leverage?
LO: Pass

Is it just me or does Pass seem like his favorite word?

TS: What would happen if say… you fail?
LO: I would vanish and try again years later.

Let’s just hope he waites till after I gradute. Why? Becuase next time I’d like to be more involved.

TS: Do you wish to kill everyone who works for the Ministry?
LO: Yes I do.

This guy is very straightforward, isn’t he? So those of you who have family who works at the ministry, I hope you have the funeral planned in advance.

TS: Why?
LO: Pass

It must be that something that happened that made him become bad in the first place.

TS: What about those who work for a mundane department like Magical Games and Sports or Magical Transportation?
LO: They will all die

Okay then. Not even those who have nothing to do with law enforcement will be spared…

TS: What about those members of the Ministry who are gradutes of Slytherin House?
LO: They are traitors and shall share the fate of everyone at the Ministry.

TS:Do you have any family? (If so, who are they?)
LO: My son is the only family I have left.

For those who don’t know, that son would be the one and only Sean O’Conner, a fifth year Slytherin.

TS: What is your Favorite food?
LO: Pizza

TS: What is you’re favorite muggle contraption?
LO: I loath the mudblood world so none

TS:Strawberry or Grape Jam?
LO: Pass

TS: Chocolate or Vanilla?
LO: What kind of stupid question is that. Next!

Seriously!? He must be one of the weird ones who like strawberry.

TS: Pumpkin Juice or Butterbeer?
LO: Butterbeer

TS: Albus Dumbledore or Minerva McGongall?
LO: Neither.

TS: If you could be any other person, dead or alive, for a whole day, who would it be and why?
LO: Lord Voldemort so the world could be rid of the potter family for good; especially that twit James Potter (:P).

TS: I know this question is pretty obvious but… if there was a tug-of-war match between the Malfoy’s and Potter’s, who would you cheer for?
LO: Malfoys of course

TS: Describe your normal day.
LO: Pass

I could just imagine if normal day. Wake up, kill, kill, kill, eat breakfast, kill kill kill, yell yell yell, eat lunch, kill and yell some more, have dinner, prehaps take a shower and brush his teeth, kill again, and go to sleep. Then start it all over again the next day.

TS: What is one interesting fact about yourself?
LO: Can put fear into others without the use of my wand.
