Strange Happenings at Hogwarts
Over the past few weeks, we have noticed some students behaving very strangely. Naturally, there are always some students at one point or another, that we consider to behave strangely, but this is beyond anything of that nature.
Earlier, I had the chance to speak to a few students who say their friends are not acting the way they would normally act. One boy went on to say that his friend’s attitude changed 100% in a matter of two hours. A first year girl spoke of several of her friends acting in ways they normally would not approve. After speaking with them, and hearing this, I decided to walk around the castle and grounds, to see if I could witness any of this for myself.
I must admit, walking along the corridors and school grounds is not as safe as it had been a few short weeks ago. I recommend that students attempt to stay in groups as they move about in any area of Hogwarts. My stroll through the corridors led me to witness a very strange sight indeed. Walking past an empty classroom, I heard voices and peered through the window. I just barely suppressed the laughter bubbling up inside me as I saw a girl pecking at the floor of the classroom, as a bird would. There were others in the room with the girl, but I dared not stay any longer and risk being seen.
Well, considering most of our professors are unconscious, and the others seem to be helping the dark wizards, it looks as though we, the students are left to defend ourselves. How can we do this, when we are clearly over powered and lacking in experience? I suppose we shall find out as time goes by.
